Poor Fletcher! I hope he is feeling much better today (maybe the band-aid trick worked?)
I feel completely off-kilter this week, probably due to the Monday holiday. My brain knows it's Thursday but my body feels weighted down and stuck in Wednesday, which is weird because I like Thursdays way more than Wednesdays! The good news is that FrankenHand looks a little less menacing these days. Jason took my stitches out for me on Tuesday night. Just as he was about to start I said, "Get your digital camera so I can blog about this." Yes, I'm a crazy blogger-knitter with a FrankenHand to boot.
So, here you go:
And more good news, despite the fact that my physical body is a day behind, I've managed to finish and even take pictures of a few projects.
The giant slippers, flaws and all, are currently air drying. Here are some before felting pictures:
and post felting:
The green washcloth I started for Christi is done, as are the booties I wanted to make her. Pictured here are the washcloth and two of the THREE booties I made (yeah, don't ask):
And I just can't resist saying that I think those are the cutest baby booties I've ever seen (even if they are clearly purple and not a rose/mauve color like I previously reported). Nala seems to like them too:
Hi everyone,
Barbara, I want your booties and I like your blog! I agree, I think they are the cutest. Should a very beginning knitter even try and if yes, would you share the pattern?
